For only $2.25 each way, the Metrorail Orange Line is the most affordable way of getting to and from the Miami International Airport (MIA) Station.
HOW TO GET THERE
If you’re boarding between Dadeland South and Earlington Heights stations, hop on a northbound Orange Line train and exit at the Airport Metrorail station. The train operates every 15 minutes.
Riders north of Earlington Heights Station, board a southbound Green Line train, exit the train at Earlington Heights station and board a northbound Orange Line train to the Airport station.
HOUR OF OPERATION
Metrorail operates from 5 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
EASY WAYS TO PAY
Tap to pay at the fare gate with contactless payment or purchase an EASY Card or EASY Ticket, or a mobile pass on the GO Miami-Dade Transit app.
Pay for Metrorail parking at any Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) or by using the PayByPhone mobile application. The cost is $4.50 at a TVM, or $4.77 through the PayByPhone app.
PARKING
Metrorail parking garages are open from 5 a.m. to one hour passed midnight (1 a.m.), seven days a week. Overnight parking is permitted at the Earlington Heights, Okeechobee and South Miami garages. Only the Earlington Heights parking garage is accessible 24 hours a day. The Okeechobee and South Miami garages are accessible during regular operating hours.
You can also call 1-888-680-7275 to pay for daily parking at any Metrorail facility, or overnight and long-term parking at the Earlington Heights, Okeechobee, and South Miami garages.
Metrorail parking is available to Miami-Dade Transit customers only. You must board Metrorail or Metrobus to park at a Metrorail facility.
