The Cybersecurity & Privacy Law Committee is sponsoring an intensive, two-day training seminar to help Florida lawyers become internationally certified in data privacy.

Bob Siegel, president and founder of Privacy Ref, is set to lead the in-person “US Private Sector Privacy Training (IAPP)” on June 17-18 at the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek two days before the Bar convenes its Annual Convention there on June 19.

“With deep subject matter knowledge surrounding key laws and regulations regarding consumer privacy and information security, he has actively contributed to the field,” according to the committee. “Bob has served as a member of the IAPP Certification Advisory Board for its publications and has been a member of their training faculty. His contributions include helping create the IAPP’s US Private Sector, Privacy Program Management, and European Data Protection classes as a subject matter expert.”
