Hogan Lovells Miami hosts Young Partners Retreat
Hogan Lovells recently hosted the Young Partners Retreat (YPR) Latin America 2023 at its Miami office, welcoming more than 60 young partners and lawyers from throughout Latin America.
The Young Partners Retreat is a program in Latin America designed to prepare lawyers for their transition to partners. The program’s goal is to assist lawyers in developing the ability to generate new ideas for the firm, become leaders, and develop new clients and business opportunities. Program participants were in Miami visiting with several law firms, including Hogan Lovells, to gain knowledge about the different roles of a partner within a law firm.
Miami office Managing Partner Jorge Diaz-Silveira, along with Partners Daniel Gonzalez, Allen Pegg, and Maria E. Ramirez participated in a panel discussion titled, “The Law Firm Partner as an Administrator.” The panelists shared their personal experiences, know-how, best practices, and wisdom with the young attorneys.
“This is the second year that we hosted the YPR and we truly look forward to spending time with these young attorneys,” said Diaz-Silveira. “Sharing our experience and knowledge with them allows us to mentor these young professionals who will ultimately be the next generation of Latin American law firm leaders.”
“We visited with several other firms this week but your attorneys are so friendly and best of all, they take the time to connect with us,” said Eduardo Paiz, founding partner of Bolder Legal Consulting Group, which organizes the YPR.
