Miami-Dade County Animal Services proudly presents the FREE WOW (Wellness on Wheels) Mobile Veterinary Clinic, which travels across the county to provide essential wellness services to owned dogs and cats.
Every few months, this fully equipped mobile clinic selects a location within our underserved communities, often referred to as veterinary deserts, where it remains for a minimum of three months to ensure consistent access to care.
The WOW Mobile will be located in District 12 at Jorge Mas Canosa Youth Center on Monday, April 7. The address location is 250 SW 114 Ave Sweetwater, FL 33174.
Pet owners in Miami-Dade County are invited to bring their dogs and cats to the WOW Mobile for free routine wellness veterinary services at this new location. The clinic offers vital care, including:
- Vaccinations
- Boosters
- Deworming
- Flea prevention
- Referrals for spay and neuter surgeries
Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. The clinic operates Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that the WOW Mobile is closed Thursday through Sunday, as well as on county-observed holidays.
These invaluable services are made possible through a generous vehicle donation and grant funding from the Friends of Miami Animals Foundation Inc.
