Florida Bar News Briefs explores the YLD hurricane hotline and the new Appellate Case Information System
The latest edition of Florida Bar News Briefs, a weekly podcast dedicated to what’s happening in the legal profession, is now available with stories including:
- The Young Lawyers Division opening its Disaster Legal Services Hotline, which answers legal questions for hurricane victims on a pro-bono basis, in conjunction with the ABA’s Young Lawyers Section and FEMA.
- The Third and Fourth district courts of appeal set to adopt a new Appellate Case Information System.
- Chief Justice Carlos Muñiz signing a proclamation stating, “September 2023 shall be known within the State Courts System as a month of awareness, training, and action regarding opioids, stimulants, and substance use disorder treatment and recovery.”
