Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Attorney General Ashley Moody announced the suspension of Hillsborough State Attorney Andrew Warren, effective immediately, for refusing to enforce Florida law.
During his announcement DeSantis stated that Warren thinks he’s “above the law” and has been “picking and choosing” what laws to enforce, citing the state’s 15-week abortion ban as the most recent example.
