September is National Suicide Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness, reduce stigma and remind our community that support is always available. Suicide affects people of every age, background and walk of life, and no one has to face these struggles alone.
The Behavioral Health Advisory Board encourages residents to check in on family, friends and neighbors, and to learn the warning signs of someone in crisis. Small acts of connection and compassion can make a real difference. Together, we can build a community where every person feels seen, supported and hopeful about tomorrow.
Visit the Behavioral Health Advisory Board’s website to access information on resources that can help. You are not alone.
