Miami-Dade Democratic Party
to Hold Rally to Fire-Up Democrats
Democratic leaders and activists gather to prepare for
November 6th Election
- On the heels of the DNC 2012 Convention and anticipation of President
Bill Clinton's arrival, the Miami-Dade Democratic Party will host a
rally on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 7:00PM at American Legion Post
#29, 6445 NE 7th Avenue, Miami.
With less than one month before the October 9th registration deadline,
the rally will serve to inform the press and the public about the newest
developments of the "Voter Suppression Act of 2011". The event
will also motivate Democrats to support President Obama and all
Democratic candidates on the November 6th ballot.
Over the past two years, Florida has seen drastic changes to election
laws and the voting process. These changes primarily disenfranchise and
impact minority voters, students, and seniors.
