Miami, Florida on

16th, 17th, and 18th, 2012.


 

At the request of the people of South Florida 
and members of the business and entertainment 
communities, the 4th Annual immaculate DJ Griot 
Celebration will again be held in Miami, 
Florida on February 16th, 17th, and 18th, 2012. 

This will be the 4th consecutive year that Miami has been the host city for the celebrity-filled festivities. As the country’s paradise destination, Miami opens its arms to gather and celebrate a man who not only entertains the masses every week on the radio airwaves, but selflessly donates his time and efforts to help others around him, including this year’s honoring charity organization, the Little Haiti Optimist Club.

DJ Griot event on Friday, Feb. 17, inside Opium at the Hardrock Hotel and Casino.

Dance the night away at one of the mostpreeminent nightclubs in South Florida. Celebrities and influentials will be in attendance as they celebrate 4 years of radio greatness with our guest of honor, Dj Griot.

Celebrities attending include Rapstress Trina,Shakedown’s Red Cafe, South Florida’s own Ace Hood, Division 1’s R&B Sensation Cherlise, Interscope’s newest signee Love Rance, B-Major’s First Lady Guyana, NFL Star Bryant McKinnnie and many others!

Carnival Comes to Little Haiti

-City of Miami Commissioner Michelle Spence Jones Celebrates the Pre Grand Opening of the Caribbean Marketplace in Little Haiti / Historic Lemon City-

(Miami, FL) — In an effort to revitalize the cultural and business corridor in Little Haiti/ Historic Lemon City, the City of Miami is pleased to announce the temporary re-opening of the Caribbean Marketplace. To celebrate the opening, The City of Miami will present
“Carnival in Little Haiti”. This exciting event will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2012 on NE 2nd Avenue between NE 59th Terrace and NE 59th Street with the opening of the Caribbean Marketplace from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m and the Carnival Street Festival from 3:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. “Carnival in Little Haiti” is free and open to the entire community.
